Requirements for a Minor in History
A minor in history consists of six three-hour history courses (18 hours). Only one 100-level course may count on the minor.
Within the 18 hours, the following requirements apply:
- Must complete 1 course from three distribution areas (3 total): non-western, early modern, modern, and multi-/transnational
- Of the three history elective courses, at least two must be numbered 200 or higher
- At least one course counting toward the minor must be at or above the 300-level
